Stamping on vellum
I was wondering what ink is best to use to stamp on vellum such as when making the wine glass lamp shades. Suggestions appreciated!

I just use the Classic ink pads on cardstock vellum. They've worked just fine for me.

stamping on vellum
I've had problems with the Classic pads smearing. The Staz-On ink works well for me and dries faster.

ink on vellum
I have tried various inks (many brands!) and have discovered that whatever ink you use, it is best to lightly heat set it with the heat gun. Be careful not to get the vellum too hot (it gets warpy and weird), just a gently back and forth with the heat a fair distance from the vellum. Basically what you are doing is drying the ink before it is handled. Hope this helps alleviate your ink angst

I use Staz-on for stampin on vellum too. Sometimes you don't get a nice crisp image with the classic pads... seems the ink "runs" a bit (Best way I know how to describe it)

One thing I like about vellum, the flip side of it not drying quickly, is that you can emboss on it even with dye ink.
