Removing eyelets
I mistakenly put in the wrong color eyelet and was wondering if there's an easy way to remove it.
|
I would be interested in hearing an answer to this too.
I would TRY to take some needle nose pliers (I have some very tiny jewelry pliers) and pry the back open. It MIGHT work if the eyelet isn't too tight. I think I would just cut it out and put another piece of paper, with the right eyelet, over the hole. Or use a bigger eyelet to fill the hole. Or maybe use a brad. Good luck! Dj |
Good Luck.
I've used pliers and other various tools to loosen and pry open the back of the eyelet and gently remove it. I think it depends on the pliability of the eyelets too; some are easier to set than others. I have found that eyelets set with the Making Memories setter that splits the backs into sections are easier to remove than ones that are just punch set. I'm also looking forward to see what others have done. |
I actually just got done making a bunch of cards with eyelets and somehow messed up one of the eyelets, where Stampin' Up eyelets are softer I just worked it and it came right out. Not sure how I did it, but it came out nicely and I just put a new one in the spot and all is well. :)
