Reflected Images

I love all the beautiful cards with reflected images. How do you do this. I am a new stamper so am clueless

Ink up your stamp and stamp onto a smooth background stamp, then take the background stamp and stamp on the cardstock. I have seen posts where others use the brayer instead of a smooth background stamp. Then with your image stamp, stamp above the reflection. Hope this helps.

Where does one find a smooth background stamp? I was going to use the brayer but I'd rather stamp on a flat surface than a round one. Thanks!

Any of the solid background shapes will work, like Little Shapes. I've also read that some people use large rubber erasers, too. Hope that helps some more. :)

I found a smooth image stamp at Michaels. Works great!

Great Shapes

Great Shapes (page 177 of the catalog) is great for this.

you can also stamp on vellum and reverse... it's a little paler, but cool if you want it to look like a reflection!
