Question on Reflection Technique

I've seen a lot of gorgeous cards using the reflection technique. I've read enough instructions to figure out how to stamp the image on acetate. But my question is: do you color the image on the acetate too? And if so, what do you color it with? I've tried the markers, but the color won't dry. Do you color the acetate with chalks?? If someone can help me with this, I'd appreciate it. Thanks! Melody.

You should color your image after you stamp it onto the cardstock.

Some of the reflections are stamped on paper so you can color them how you please.

Two ways of doing this are inking your stamp up and running your brayer over it and then over the paper. Another way is to ink you image, stamp it on a solid stamp and then stamp the solid stamp onto the paper. That way you could use any coloring method you want.

Another way to do reflections is to stamp the image on vellum or window sheets. I think vellum you could pretty much color the images in with anything. If you are using window sheets you might have to try coloring with sharpie markers.

Hope this helps :)
