Default I have tiles!!!

Now, do I have the right ones, and what do I do with them?

Purchased a section of 12 2"x2" tiles. They are off-white in color and have a sort of matte/satin finish. I don't know that they are "tumbled" tiles (the Lowe's clerk couldn't tell me), and suspect they may be porcelin. BTW they were only $2.34 for all 12 - too good of a bargain to pass up!

Could someone offer some advice?

Rhonda,

If they aren't tumbled (or are ceramic) you may have to bake (heat set) them to set the ink. My SU! demo told me, but we were working the marble tiles at the workshop, and I liked them so I put the ceramic tile info out of my mind. I know that I picked up a box of marble tiles at Home Depot (the box doesn't indicate whether or not they are tumbled) and they have a matte/sating finish, but you can see and feel some fissures. Also, they feel a little dusty. If you check the label on the Stayzon it may tell you.
