Default Babywipe Technique

I have been out of sorts lately..
I took off the month of April w/SU due to personal reasons, so I am REALLY LOST!

I love to know how to do the babywipe technique!
Can someone give me the thread...xoxoxojenn

Default babywipe technique

Here are a couple things I found on it...

Thanks everyone for your kind comments! Baby wipe technique: Take 2 wipes, unfolded and lay on top of each other. Fold them together into quarters; drop 2-3 different colors of reinkers randomly onto folded wipe in a circular area about 3-1/2" around. Fold wipe corners backwards to resemble a won ton and to provide a "handle" to hold wipe (reinker will be on the outside). Pounce wipe all over glossy c/s until you have a pleasing coverage. Let dry (doesn't take long). This became my background. Then I used the wipe to put color on the large rectangle from Great Shapes, then stamped that on more glossy c/s. Cut out, then that became the background piece for the starfish. Very simple & easy -- thanks to my friend Maggie who shared this.

now I'm not sure if the links will be clickable but one is from the gallery the other is from the forum... so this should get you going on the babywipe technique... I'm going to try this one myself...

Default Baby Wipe Technique

The way I do this is as follows: take a baby wipe, cut in half, fold until a size easy to handle (mine was slightly bigger than a domino), put 2 drops of one reinker and 2 drops of another color (not touching and sort of in a diamond shape), then swipe from one side of glossy cardstock to the other. I was pretty happy with the results and have three cards in my gallery if you want to check them out. I'm computer challenged so I don't know how to give the link to the individual card but I don't have very many cards posted. Hope this helps. Regards, Sue
