Question kiss technique

Someone just asked me how to do the kiss technique. Can anyone tell me how to do this please? I did it once a few years ago but I forget how. TIA

I think it's when you ink up a stamp, then use another uninked to kiss it - lifting off color in that pattern...then when you stamp with the inked one looks like there's the pattern inside the stamp area. Maybe better explained elsewhere...haha http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/cg_d...&seed_id=28484

Yep, Linda's explanation is one way to do it. The other way is to ink up a stamp with a light colour and then "kiss" it with another stamp inked in a darker colour. Your first stamp needs to be quite solid and your kissing stamp is best if it's one with a small pattern or something that fits into part of your solid shape (for example, a swirl kissed over part of a silhouette bird image).

HTH!
