Default Pattern for a note pad wrap?

My demo once showed us a thin sticky note pad wrapped with card stock and closed with velcro. I think I can figure out the size, but how do the ends meet? Overlapping - where? I did a search, but came up with zippo on this one.
Somebody help please!! Pictures or Patterns?

Here's a link to a site by PaperRapt...

It doesn't overlap, but you may be able to modify it. I hope you find what you need if this doesn't fit the bill.

No, that wasn't quite it, but thanks for trying. I remember it as an open sided envelope of stamped cardstock, that had a round velcro piece holding it together in the middle on top. (Bad description, I know!) I will try making one tomorrow.

Default post-it-note cover

I also saw this at a demo. The size of the cardstock is 8 1/2 x 3.
Score at the 1 3/4 point and again at the 2 1/4. Then score again lower at the 5 and 5 1/2 point. Fold on the score lines, the shorter end will be the top flap. Velcro would work, also you could set 2 eyelets .One on the upper flap near the bottom edge and one 2'' down from the top of the bottom flap. Thread a cord through the bottom eyelet, tie knot at back. Then to close pull one tread through upper eyelet and tie!!
Hope you find this useful.

I'm not sure if you're looking for a Post It Note cover or a junior legal pad cover. I instructions for both, so if you haven't found what you're looking for let me know and I will post the instructions for you.

It is the post it note cover that wraps around the thin post-it note pad and secures the flap with velcro. I just made one up - turned out pretty good.
I wanted it for my door prize, along with an RSVP pen. I am having my first demo today, and didn't have any incentive stamps to put in a bag.
Thanks anyway!
