Powder vs. Embossing

Okay, I am getting totally confused on the differences between Powder, Embossing, and Glitter.

What are the differences? How are each supposed to be applied?

Please help me understand something I should know well enough by now!

Thank you!

Embossing Powder vs. Glitter

K -

FOR GLITTER
1) Stamp with pigment or embossing ink
2) Pour Heat & Stick powder on wet ink
3) Heat with heat gun until sticky
4) Cover with glitter or flocking (flocking is 'fuzzy' that can be added to bears and other animals, I have yellow for Easter chicks)
5) Reheat to set

FOR EMBOSSING POWDER
1) Stamp with pigment or embossing ink
2) Pour Embossing powder on wet ink
3) Heat with heat gun until powder is melted

Hope this ansers your questions

That's great! Thanks!

I intend to print this and tack it to the wall in my stamping room so I don't forget again.

Thank you!!!!!!!
