Question Faux Cloisonne

Does anyone have instructions for the Faux Cloisonne technique? I've tried googling and yahooing, but haven't found anything really clear.

There are so many beautiful cards using this technique -- I would love to try it!

Thanks!

here is the link that Beth posted for our challenge on Monday. Lots of fun! Make sure you check out the thread (TLC4 under the challenges (Monday).

Basically you need glossy magazines or wrapping paper; versamark and gold embossing powder and a heat gun.

Upload when you get your done so we call all oohhh and ahh! (you can post in the challenges thread under TLC4.

I just started doing the challenges myself (and neglecting some housework-heeheehee). They are so much fun! The sketch challenge and the technique are my favorites, but ways to use it and limited supplies have opened my eyes to things I never thought I could use in stamping (duh--paper ribbon-pure genius!).

My cards aren't great, but I am gaining more confidence in my stamping especially with trying to come up with my own ideas.

Welcome to SCS! Make yourself comfortable you will probably be here awhile.

Oh one other thing you may have not seen (I found it by accident) on the right hand side of the screen it shows all the differant Subject groups (i.e. stamping 101, general stamping, etc.) Click on the very top heading (it says Stamping Stuff) that will list all the areas. One area that you don't see on the home screen is Resources (not the one at the top of the website). You will find templates, techniques, ideas, etc. It is a wealth of information. Another good forum is the VSN. There is one for about every month and they can give you some fun techniques and interesting items to use for stamping.
