Appologies in advance if this topic has been discussed before - I'm new.

Are there instructions on how to do a sticky note cover?
Is it just covered cardboard? What weight paper do you use so that it's still flexible but not going to wear out quickly?

I've always used the glossy cardstock, which looks great as a post-it cover. I've never used a template because you can "eyeball" it so easily:

Place your post-its on the cardstock & mark and cut a piece a little bit wider than the notes and about 2 1/2 times as long.

Fold the top down over the post-its so it's about even with the bottom of the notes, then fold the bottom up over the post-its, leaving about 1/2" extra.

Staple the bottom about 1/4" from the bottom (staple a piece of ribbon in if you're adding a bow); seat your post-its slightly above the staple, and slip the top into the bottom flap.

Here's a thread from way back when . . . Marcia (suthnheart) attached instructions for some really spiffy post-it covers made with matboard!
