Default Pop up Pop Corn sleeve

A long time ago, someone asked me how to make one of these pop up popcorn sleeves.

I'm afraid you'll need to email me for instructions as I cannot get the file size small enough to attach here.

I tried attaching something to a PM and then to a post and was told it was too big. It was a 2 page doc that was already posted here but the person couldn't find it. Very odd.

Nan ~ I'm emailing you. I'd like the instructions for this too.

Dear NY Nan,

I'm so jealous of you! I've been searching for the mini popcorn bags, and I haven't been able to find them at 3 different Wal-Marts in my area! I think I'll have to go to the "city" to buy them at Sams.

I'm going to jump on the bandwagon and ask for your directions. I've done something similar, but nowhere as cute as your idea. I'm sending you an email.

Thanks in advance,

Melissa

The Brand is Act II.
They are a Halloween version, judging by the graphics on the pop corn bag. It's 1.6 oz. per bag.

Maybe your local chain grocery store will carry them?

Hope you all can find them!

If not, I have done the regular size version of this bag. I'll go measure.

Default Regular size Pop Up Popcorn bag

OK. Here's the regular size version.
Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

The cardstock is 10 1/2" wide by 7 1/2" long.

Same process, just bigger.

Hope that helps!

Default Popcorn Sleeve Directions

Please email me the directions.

I have not been able to download pdf files. When I click on the file name I get a blank screen. I'd love it if someone could help me out on what to do!

Thanks.

Melissa - the HEB at 35 & 3009 has them. Bought two boxes on Wednesday, as a matter of fact! They are 2/$5 I think. Go to the popcorn/chip aisle, and there they are!

Default POPCORN SHOWER GIFTS

I used this foir a shower gift, same idea with the mini popcron bags, however I included a few movie passes on the front, and used the Borders mini to look like a reel, and used liquid appl. as popcorn and the present from good times as the popcorn holder.

Sams has a box of 40 mini popcorns for lik 6 bucks.

Default For those having trouble downloading the file...

If you can't download the pdf file by just left clicking on it, try clicking on the filename with your right mouse button. You should get a menu of options, one of which will be to download or save the file to your hard drive (can't remember exactly how it is phrased). Once it is on your hard drive you can open your Reader application, browse to the saved location, and open it there. Note that this works with other pdf files you might have trouble downloading, as well.

And by the way, thanks for the file Nan and Robin!

Thank you!! I tried that and it worked!! So many times I can't open something and I really appreciate this tip!!

PS. Love the popcorn holder...saw it on this site with the bottom crimped as well and that also was super cute. What wonderful ideas here! ;o)
