Default Which ink for brayer?

If I want to do a reverse/mirror image w/ brayer, which ink to I use on the stamp? If it's on glossy do I need to use Stayzon? Will it stay wet long enough to roll it onto the brayer?

Thanks!

Lori

Default brayer

I always use classic ink for that. It will be wet for a minute or so, but it will dry. I have never used stazon for this technique so I dion't know if it would stay wet for the transfer???

Have fun HTH

For a reverse image I use a large solid stamp, not a brayer. I would think that a brayer would be difficult to use to place the image where you want it. I have only tried it with dye ink. Just 'huff' on the image to moisten it before you roll it onto the paper.

I would be afraid that the StazOn would stain my brayer. It's bad enough I have one that's black. I don't want another one with StazOn images.

I've done the reverse with the brayer. It's really not all that difficult and I did use classic ink.
