Default Help! Looking for directins on "confetti slinger"

i saw a card last night that was really cool. when you opened the card, a box popped up inside and confetti is literally thrown at you. there's a rubber band involved. the first time i opened it, it didn't snap correctly so i saw that there were pieces of confetti folded in paper - it looked like a square that had all the corners pushed into the middle.

i don't know if i'm explaining it properly, but it was really neat and could be fun. i guess recipients could also hate you for the mess it makes, but i'd really love to learn how to make it.

i'm not sure what to call it either. i thought maybe it was explosion card, but when i did a search, it wasn't what i wanted.

any clue?

thanks sunday! i'll have to try it.

although the one i saw used a rubber band, the instructions on the link you posted seem to indicate that the same effect will be achieved.

thanks again!

Thanks for sharing! I have a friend who always sneaks confetti into her cards & I'd love to make a BD card that flings it right at her!

Does anybody have the rubber band-flinger pattern? I'm afraid this one might lose some of the confetti when you pick it up.

Default link

I just double checked the link and it worked for me. Maybe the site was down for a few minutes. Try it again and if it still doesn't work for you let me know and I will try to copy and paste it into an email for you.

thanks sunday stamper! i'm going to try both techniques tonight and see what happens. the second link seems more like the one i saw, but i still don't think it's it exactly. but i don't care as long as the confetti gets thrown at the center.

i'm so wicked! my friends are going to be so annoyed!
