Polished Stone

Help! I'm relatively new to stamping and want to try the polished stone technique. From what I understand it uses alcohol and re-inkers. (?)
If this is correct could someone please guide me as to what I do from there? I've seen some beautiful cards with this technique and I WANT TO TRY IT!!

Thanks for sharing!

Here's a good site for you:

except... you don't need the metalic pens. :)
Hope this helps!

Actually if you want to add any metallics to your polished stone you DO need the metallic zig painty pen.

I've tried using the Encore metallic re-inkers and they tend to smear with this technique. You can use them, but be careful or the effect won't be as nice.

The zig painty metallic inks will not smear with this technique.

Cheers!
