Smile pockets and pieces boxes and tags SU kit

Can anyone share how they are using these? Or where I can get more info on them? I purchased two sets and am hosting a SU slumber party workshop and would like to use these as one of our projects. Any help will be greatly appreciated. thx

Well I for one , am half "afraid" to use them. There are one three of each. though, I have just used the collage technique and wung it! I am sure that this really did not help becuz I am still wondering how tho do them myself. hehehe Taishea

This is my very question this morning! I knew I couldn't be the only one. Did we ever get an answer? Maybe this could be a challenge of some sort!

I just found out that our regional group is having a training day in April, and one of the classes is.... Pockets and Pieces! If no one else responds before then, I'll let you all know what I learned!

I haven't actually bought this yet, but I think I would make mini accordian albums with them, or use them on 6 x 6 pages. You can make mini albums using just cardstock, or adhere to cardboard covers and then tie with ribbon. Ink the piece edges - ink direct to paper to achieve a distress look or just use clean cut. Use background stamps, and pattern stamps to make the solids into patterns. Add hardware to dress up the pieces and add dimension using pop dots. I guess I could just keep going. Basically, you need to just jump in and start layering. It will be fun.

go to the gallery and run a search. I came up with several good ideas. I have the kit and was wondering why until I came up with the ideas from the gallery.

You can search the gallery. Unfortunately, there isn't a way to look for phrases, so items that just use the words pockets and pieces but not necessarily next to each other will be included in the results, but you should be able to tell from the thumbnails which actually use something from those diecuts.

Here is a link to the results from a search for "pockets and pieces":
