PLEASE HELP QUICK...
Ok, so the card-maker's DH's valentine is JUST getting finished   ! Doing a version of the "Love Potion #9"card for
DH before he gets home from work. On one of the other ones I made I used Versamark & clear EP to give the bottle the look of shiny glass. For DH's card I's also like to add some texture by dry embossing a few lines on the image. Should I do that part before I do the heat embossing or after? Also, would Crystal Effects give me the same shiny, glass look? I don't have any of it yet, so just wondering? I know, SHAME on me for leaving his valentine until the last minute, but that seems to be how I roll lately  Any quick replies would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks in advance! |

Thanks so much, CreativeDiva, for your quick reply! I DO want the the
bottle to have a little more texture, but also shiny glass look. I think you are right, to do the heat emboss first, then the lines. Does that make sense? The whole bottle will be shiny, but the part narrowing up to the neck of the bottle would have a few diagonal lines leading up to the top. Does THAT make sense? Thanks again! :D I always know I can count on you guys for lots of help! I love you! :D :D |
