Default Stamping on a bar of soap.

One of my customers just called and asked how to stamp on soap. I know I have seen it here somewhere. I am in a rush to get to work. Can someone please help.
Thanks

I've done it by embossing an image on a sheet of tissue paper, and then coloring it in. Wet it slightly, and it will stick to the soap. You can smooth out any bubbles with a wet finger, but be gentle, as the tissue will tear easily at first. The tissue disappers, and it seems to last for quite a while! Make sure you let it dry well before packaging it.

Have fun!

You can also brush on a thin film of melted clear wax or glycerine soap to seal the tissue paper on. Wax is better because it won't wash away and will hold the tissue in place.

Default Stampin on soap

What I have done is stamped the image on regular copy paper or white card stock. I color it in if needed and adhere it with Modge Podge. It takes one coat before applying your image, then, I usually add another 3-4 coats on top, allowing each to dry about 15 minutes in between. I have also done this with wallet size photos. My family loves to get them as holiday gifts and they make perfect stocking stuffers too. With the modge podge, you can still use the soap as usual and it has not affected the images or the photo.
