Ok, walked through the "artist" section of Michaels on Sunday. Looked for copic markers, but found none. Looked at all the coloring pencils. None said "made of wax." Bought a blender pen. Have no idea what to do with it, but think I need one on the card making journey. It smells like it has alcohol in it.
Are most pencils waxed base? What type of coloring tool do I use this blender pen on?

Did you buy a copic blender...or a tombow/dove type blender???
I have not used a cpoic blender pen but I do use tombow blender pens all of the time. They can be used to blend prisma colored pencils. They can also be used with watercolor crayons and wator color pencils and you can put watercolor from a marker on plastic and use a blender pen to transfer the color to the paper so the marker color is not so intense....
Michaels sells PRISMA Markers so I bet that is what it is. Unfortunately they do not sell Copics.Wish they did. I use my Prisma Blender with my Prisma Markers I bought Michales also. It lifts color off is what it does. When you use the Prisma marker to color an area of an image, to get the highlights in it, use the Colorless Blender to lift off color and make it look alot lighter in that area. Prismas are alcohol markers.
They also sell Prisma colored pencils at Michaels. I use these to but I use the Mona Lisa Oderless Paint Thinner to blend and shade with these.
There are tutorials all over on these 2 techniques. This is where I learned to do them also.
Good Luck to you, And if you have more questions about anything - post away and someone will always help.
