Default Dyeing Pretties Flowers

I need help! I am having technique class (well...now) and can't find directions on how to dye the pretties flowers with the reinkers. Does anyone know?

Default Reinker

Use a reinker to dye them as well!

What I am wondering is...how much water vs. how many drops of reinker do I mix together before "dunking" the flowers in there to dye them?

I was wonder what the ratio of reinker to water was too. I finally used full strength and very little water and got it to work leaving them in the solution overnight. I would also like to know what is the correct ratio.

I discovered that it really doesn't matter whether you leave the flower or ribbon in the solution. I did a number of time tests to compare the results and they all came out the same (although, I do admit I didn't try overnight as I wanted to be able to do it in a class). You do have to play around with ratios of ink to water (I can't remember what I ended up deciding on, but it was a fairly high ratio. Try 40 drops of ink to 1 tsp of water). Then simply use tweezers to hold your flower (or ribbon) as you dip it in the solution. After dipping, place it on a paper towel to dry (you could also use a hair dryer to speed it up). Hope this helps.
