Default Retiform technique?

I was just cruising the gallery and came across some beautiful cards using the Retiform (?) technique. Can anyone tell me how it's done?

Thanks much!

Thanks, Camsmom! Doesn't sound too complicated, once I get it set up (I hope!) :?

On one of the cards in the gallery, someone said something about using Post-It notes? So I was thinking you masked it off using those, instead of the scrap paper, but would work either way I guess. I'll give it a go!

Thanks much - especially for such a quick reply! Have a great day!

I have always heard of it done with post-it notes, but when I searched I didn't see any with pics using the post-its. I absolutely think Post-Its would be easier!
