pen turns paper to velvet???

I found this link that discusses a pen that is originally used to turn fabrics to velvet--but you can write on paper with and then heat and it makes a velvet texture. Anyone heard of this fabulous thing? Or know who I can contact to find out? The www.ilove2create.com/ site says it is temporarily unavailable. Anybody heard of them? Here's the link:

I'm dying to try it!!! :0)
Much Thanks in advance!

I think I saw Judi Watanabe demonstrate it on TVWeekly online. You can look up the archives and find it. Never seen the pen in any stores though. I tried it with the puffy paint in bottles. Works but you don't have the pen control.

I did purchase these pens at Joanns..They are in a set of 6 I think for about $20. They have two differents sets.. I really have not used them much... I needed them of course after seeing that video! They do work!

I have tried them but I am not all that impressed. I didn't care for the look I got on my paper.

I've heard mixed reviews too. Apparently it matters how much you apply and if it dries or not (less and dried=less puff.)

Here's a review of them by Chere:

I've been thinking about adding fabric to cards lately for something different and they're supposed to be amazing on fabric, so who knows... :0)

I bought a few of these after seeing Judy on Scrapbook Lounge. I'm not overly impressed. The result really depends on the coverage you get on the paper. It seemed that if I had too much overlap, I got very lumpy results when I heated it. And I really didn't think it felt much like velvet. Maybe it's better on fabric since that is what it was originally developed for. I hate when products don't work the way I expect them to. It makes me feel like I've just wasted a bunch of money.
