Scallop with Slit Punch????

I think I understand how to make the scalloped-look using the slit punch, but I want it wider/thicker/deeper. What I'm trying to say is that I can only make my strips 1 1/8" because that's all the farther the punch will go into the paper.

I'm trying to CASE a black and white card that uses DoodleThis, which has a scalloped edge. Based upon my experiments, I'm thinking the only way to do this is to add the strip of scallops and put ribbon across where the 2 pieces overlap????

Try using a corner rounder with the plastic part removed. I think I saw it done this way on Beate's blog.

You're right. I wish they would make a "reverse" slit punch! Then we could scallop any sized piece of paper!
