Default dry embossing questions

I'm giving this tech a try and have a question. After I dry emboss image on the cardstock, what do I do with it? What can I do to color it or make it look good. Thanks in advance.

Default coloring dry embossed images

put your stencil back over the embossed image and chalk it up. You could apply Versamark as well and emboss the raised letters with EP as well.

Good Luck.

if you have a really steady hand, you can use an xacto knife and cut out some of the portions of the emossed indentions and layer a colored cardstock behind it for color and dimension. or you can use the SU daubers and chalk the raised sections. if you go outside the lines, it just adds a little more character.

I like to paint my embossed images with metallic/pearescent watercolors.
You need a steady hand to keep it on top of the raised area. And I find diluting the colours works better to hide a few flubs.

If you have brass stencils and the matching stamps you can stamp the image first then put the brass template over it and emboss - voila' - colored and raised image.

Actually Iusually chalk mine
