Re: paper piecing templates

Paper Wishes has 606 paper piecing patterns on one CD. I have this CD and have used it several times for different looks. You can look for this on their website. Hope this helps.:)

If you click on the Ellen Hutson LLC in the post above yours, it takes you to a page of paper PIERCING templates for sale at the store.

I found a template at my local scrapbooking store by the brass stencils and other tracing templates. It had straight lines, scalloped lines, and zig zags on it.

Tks

I had actually purchased a template from Ellen. Very ornate. Found out that a thinner piercing tool is needed.

...

The ones I'm thinking of were removed. My guess is that the person posting them in her gallery did not own the copyrights to them -- but that's only a guess.

Thank you I bet you are right. Because I favorited them and could not find them afterward. I didn't even think of that. Thanks again......

for that matter you could simply use a coloring page. Just google ________ coloring page and print one you like and pierce evenly along the outline. You can find a pattern for ANYTHING that way...trust me with 3 kids between the ages of 4 and 6 I know LOL!

Just a thought, but why do you need a thinner piercing tool, couldn't you just use a head pin, I am sure you have one of those already in your sewing basket;)?

I am guessing that the holes are very tiny?? Some of the Pergamano needles are very thin.

I would ask first, and if its OK then Print it and LAMINATE IT as it makes it more durable.

I'm glad I found this thread. I wanted to try some piercing that was not just in a straight line like I usually do. Great templates in those links.

I often search e-bay for "ORNARE" products. They have metal templates that you can use over and over again or they also have card kits. I photocopy the card kits so I can use the templates over and over. Hope that helps.

For Ebay or the web, you can also search under Pergamano (what vellum/parchment piercing is called). I use my templates for piercing on paper, cardstock, and vellum. There are other companies beside Ornare who make piercing templates.

I just started to do a lot of piercing and I am having so much fun with it! :)
