Default Nugget Purses/Briefcases

I know lots of you have made the little nugget purses and I have gotten instructions of how to do them; BUT has anyone done a briefcase? I need to make one for a guy in the group for whom I'm making the purses and I don't think he'd appreciate a purse. Please help :>)

I bought double-sided beige/brown paper at Michael's. It looks like leather. I'm going to use it to make a wallet card for my brother for his birthday. Perhaps you could use paper like that to make a purse look like a briefcase and make a shorter handle. Just a suggestion...

I will check my favorites because a briefcase is ringing a bell someplace in my little mind.

FYI - I decided to see if I could make a "briefcase" on my own and it really wasn't that hard. Here's what I came up with:

Wanda,

Sorry I couldn't have been more help. But, the briefcase you made is adorable! Great job. I think I'll have to case it. TFS.

I just found the little nugget purses and asked my son if he would like to make them for Valentine's Day. He said yes but he wanted to make briefcases for the boys. I figured someone on SCS must have come across this dilemma and voila - I ended up here.

Do you happen to remember what the measurements are for your briefcases. I showed my son and he said we can make those. He is in grade 4 but they are still doing valentines - probably will be his (and my, boo hoo) last year. We can't have projects that are too girly and your briefcase is just perfect.
