I want to try something new. Since I want to try everything at once, I think I need a little direction. I thought a poll or survey would be fun, but I don't want to limit the question to a few choices. Here are my questions?
What is your favorite technique? and Why?
If you can, can you please include a link to an example in your Splitcoast directory?
Thanks for sharing.

I don't think I could pick out one single technique, I like so many of them. Have you tried clicking on the resources tab at the top of the page? You could always work your way down that, LOL. I suppose some of my favourites would be waterfall cards, the surprise slider one, polished stone, popping pastels, watercolour backgrounds....see what I mean. The list goes on and on.
I LOVE the polished stone technique!!!!!! I think it is so pretty and you can use any color reinker you like!!!!
IF you go to Resources you will see a turorial there and I am sure you can type in that technique and see examples.
I do not know how to post links, sorry!!!!
My problem is that I clicked on the resource (LOL) link above and well....I'm overwhelmed and want to try them all. Since I'm feeling indecisive I thought this might be a way to help me choose. I'm excited about the possibilities. Thanks for shaing your opinons.

I'd have to say that my 'favourite' technique is using ribbons with sliders. You can make a very plain (simple) card look so elegant with just the addition of a lovely piece of ribbon through a fancy slider.
I have even covered the slider in the same paper as I've used in the card, to make them match, with great success. And glitter sliders look beautiful on wedding cards and anniversary cards.
I know all the different techniques can be very overwhelming, so what I started doing is I went to the technique challenge site here and I have started working my way through them, I try and do one a day and I flag the ones that I really like, I also went through them all to find out what supplies I need so that I can pick up the things that I don't have on hand for when I do need them. I hope this helps you, good luck with whatever you choose to do.
