Question Need help with this technique

I am not sure what this is called, but I need help with it. What we did was take glossy cardstock and brayer a color over it. Then we took a versamark ink pad and did the same. Then dumped Hologram highlights embossing powder over it and embossed it. It looks really cool and shimmery. Well, I wanted to do it in silver. So I brayer silver ink on my glossy cardstock and put the embossing powder on it and embossed it. It looks so pretty, but when I touched it, it came right off. I dont understand. If you gals have tried this before, please help!

Thanks so much,
Teresa

Red face Sealer

I'm not sure but I think you have to spray it with a sealer so it will not come off. I'm not sure though I hope this helps

Thanks for that idea but when we did it, it stayed on fine. Its just when I take it home it decides not to work. The only difference is we used a classic pad and I used an encore pad. But thanks for the help.

When I put silver ink on glossy cards it rubs off for a long time. I have to let it dry for hours. Maybe this is the problem.
