Paint can

I've been looking at all of the paint cans in the gallery and can't find any that show how to hide the paper seams when the front and back meet. Can someone give me some advice?
Thanks
Jackie

I'd like to know too. I made these and the paper keeps popping off and I used the sticky tape.

I have an answer to the paper coming off question. After trial and error, much error, use glue dots - they stick to everything, even the metal can. Someone also said to use the red sticky tape from SU (p220).
Now what about the sides? HELP!!!!!!! ANYONE!!!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!

What I did with mine was do one piece of paper first - punch the hole where the handle is and put that piece on with sticky strip (I only needed two lines of stricky strip on the left and right ends of the sheet of paper). This first side doesn't quite make it to reach the second handle. So then I did the second sheet and punched the hole for the second handle. Again sticky strip on both left and right ends. On this second sheet, I overlapped the paper on top of the first sheet on both sides. So the stricky strip on this second sheet is actually sticking to the first sheet of paper at both ends - not the can. I used striped designer series paper, so it is difficult to see the "seams". I would bet that cardstock would be a little harder to hide the seam unless you use ribbon or something in your design somehow. I haven't had a problem with the stricky strip - it has held well. Hope this helps!

scratching my head here....I used the red sticky tape and did the punch for around the handles and the paper still came up. Even the top and bottom boarders popped up. What about cyrstal effects? I have heard that used for laot of things. Would that work?

Here is another thread on paint cans... not sure it answers any of your questions... but here it is anyway.

Pioneer makes a glue stick just for metals, like the paint cans and coffee cans. I doing coffee cans and it worked prefect for me and it is staying on really well.
