New Technique - Cuttlebug Circular Embossing
I worked out a neat thing to do to stretch the use of those small Cuttlebug Embossing Folders that gives me a wider range of embossed backgrounds. I have a sample on my blog as well as details on how to do it.

OMG, this is so cool............................ runs to her craft room to try this!
Thanks so much for working this out Barbara. |
Becca you come up with some of the coolest ways to use our toys. Thanks so much for sharing with us. I am now off to try this.
|
You do such totally neat work, always so full of detail.
this is great, how much patience and practice did it take? I think you have more patience then the average person, and it shows in your work. Printed off the details to try soon also, thanks for sharing again |
wickedly cool, too bad I don't have any of the smaller folders heheh..
but I am already thinking of ways to NOT cover up the hole in the middle...I am thinking frames..either for a 3 d embellie, or an actual picture.. new twist on the photo Christmas card.. or even the school wallet pics.... |
This is so neat, I can't wait to try it! Thanks for sharing!

Thank you Becca for sharing this great technique. I have a few of those small folders and wasn't sure what to do with them - who can pass up a clearance deal?? I'll be pulling them out tomorrow and give it a try. Your tutorial makes it look so easy! Your work is beautiful.

Thanks for sharing this Becca. I haven't got any of these smaller folders because I didn't think that they were versatile enough. I guess I just didn't think enough outside the square (pardon the pun) like you did.
I now have some more things on my wish list from my local store, I'm glad Christmas isn't too far away :-D. |
I have those folders and never used them....until now!!! Thanks so much for the great idea!!

Thanks for sharing - this is on my "to try ASAP" list.

You know what kills me as I sit here reading and looking at all the cool techniques? I don't even use the tools I have in my craft room, let alone play with them to do all this "extra" stuff!!! You guys are amazing!!!
|
Thanks so much for putting this out there. I've spent so much time trying to make the embossing folders less limited. This is such a blessing. I will be pulling them out again! (smile)
|
I love it!! Have you tried the larger folders as well? I would love to know. TFS
|

Thanks, Gia |

Gia, you can see that technique HERE. I haven't used it in a while but Sizzix also puts out those small embossing folders, so I have to give it a try with them also. Have fun with it :D
|
Thanks Becca for revisiting "old" ideas....that gives me a new perspective on my embossing folders!
|
I can't seem to find the card showing the other ways to use the embossing folder
