New to this.....

Hi all.....I have been in stamping for over 2 years now and have been looking on this site at all the gorgeous cards for some inspiration. Then I decided well I should do more than browse, so I'm trying to figure out how to get more involved with the challenges and techniques. I would appreciate hearing from other "newbies" to the site. Thanks!
Missy

Welcome to the board!

As far as challenges go, just jump in. Everyone is welcome! For the techniques, there is no time limit. If you want to try one (or several) have fun and post your results.

This is a very fun board and everyone is helpful-so if you have a ? just ask!!

Have fun with the challenges!:)

I'm even newer than you, Missy! This is such a cool site. I can spend so much time just looking at all the talented contributions of everyone who's posted card pictures! I tried the candle stamping today, after seeing it on the techniques page. Success!!! I was so happy! I'm looking forward to learning lots from everyone here. It's fun and exciting!!! I joined the Card of the Month group. I'm a little nervous sending my cards. But, it's a way to see other's work (in person) each month. I figure the site can only make me get better. There are so many talented people here. I'm sure glad a friend told me about it!!! I'm glad to know there are other "newbies" around, too. Thanks for your post, Missy!

Thanks for the feedback, I too just marvel at the talent and do get alot of help in just getting started with a card by looking at others. Thanks so much for the hints. I will have to try a challenge or technique and post what I come up with.
Thanks again!

I'm another newbie here and can't seem to stay off the computer. I was up late last night here and it's getting to be 11 p.m. and it looks like I'll be here late again.

I too am a newbie to this site and spend endless amounts of time "browsing". I am still working up the courage to try the techniques and join swaps but I have yet to come across a site better then this one.
