Default Marbelized Pastels - Please Help!

Can someone please explain how to do this technique? I've seen samples, but no How To's! All help appreciated.

1. I take a plate and add a small amount of water. Enough to cover my card stock.
2. I take a scrap piece of paper and set on the puddle. remove. and through away. (Some water will not take this tech. till you do this. I do not know why- it must remove something from the water)
3. Then I remove one of my SU pastels and LIGHTLY scrap off a small amount of chalk with a knife or pen cap-into the water. Repeat with 2 or 3 colors. (different colors will react differently with the water too. -Experiment)
4. You can leave them the way they fall or swirl the water with the knife to get the marble effect. 5. Place your card stock on top of the water and remove.
5. Set aside. Paper will slightly curl, but will be totally dry in a matter of minutes.

There you have it. A beautiful master piece. This is a great Tech. to show at workshops. Sells itself.

Blessings
Pam
