Default notebooks

I have seen in magazines some cute stamped and decorated notebooks. They look like they have been covered, but I don't understand how that is done - especially with the coil on it.

Any ideas, girls? I just don't get it!

I had to ask my sister about this. She had sent me a beautiful one & I just had to do some.
First. pull open one end of the spiral & twist it out. Cover & decorate however you would like. Use a hole punch (I use the one with my "silent setter") & then just twist the coil back in. It's really easy to do. HTH

I've covered college composition books for my daughters birthday and had the kids decorate them. It was a big hit and they turned out beautifully.
