Need idea help
My son will be 18 this Sat. He loves blues/greens and tie dye. I found some blue with a touch of green tie dye paper and want to make him a card with it, and I'm pretty new at card making so I am not sure how to do it to make it "cool", any suggestions?

well, do you have a sentiment you could stamp that reads happy birthday and use that paper as the background? and ( maybe slightly smaller then your solid card base so that the base frames the paper )
Pick a cardstock base color that is similar to one of the colors in the printed paper. another thing to make it "cool" would be to cut/emboss that sentiment into a neat shape. ( If there is a local scrap or stamp store near you they could show you or I am thinking that sometimes they rent their tools too so you may be able to stamp it first and go to a store to have the shape cut/embossed) I'm assuming you haven't collected a ton of tools yet. |
