I think I saw this in a video tutorial at some point (and didn't just dream it, or am mis-remembering 2 things smushed together, LOL). It was sort of like a double slider. When you first view the card, there are 2 characters at opposite ends of a slider-type track. When you pulled a tab, 2 characters travelled along the track and came together to meet in the centre.
Among my bookmarked tutorials I've found a few that use the strip of grocery bag method for doing a double slider where you pull one end and both ends slide out, but I could swear I also saw one a while back where a similar "belt" mechanism caused items to slide toward each other (and not just one sliding to the other side like a regular pull-tab, but both moving).
If anyone has heard of this or remembers seeing something, I'd appreciate the help. Thanks!
I don't know how to post the link, but if you go to You Tube and type in
<yt-formatted-string force-default-style="" class="style-scope ytd-video-primary-info-renderer" style="word-break: break-word;">Double Slider Card using a Plastic Grocery Bag it'll bring up a video from Dawn showing the card with the plastic bag as the slider.</yt-formatted-string>
Thanks, ladies! I know the Dawn video you're talking about and I remember seeing those Jennifer McGuire videos.
As luck would have it, I actually found the video that I remembered! If you watch, you'll see that pulling one tab moves 2 pieces in opposite directions coming toward the centre. It's a great feat of paper engineering.
