I am making 50th Anniversary invitations and would like to print the inside portion of the card on vellum and attach it to some very textured homemade paper (purchased, not made by me!). I had planned on using my SU double hole punch and using thin organdy ribbon to do a tie or bow. Also, after I thought about it, I don't know that the double hole punch is the look I wanted with ribbon - wouldn't it look nicer to have the ribbon going across the whole width of the inside rather than just a centered bow? What tool could I use to achieve this - I'm afraid of punching single holes and having them be crooked... Are there any other options other than this?
Just make a template. I did just a single sheet of handmade paper with vellum overlay for my wedding announcement. The company I ordered from actually supplied the template, so I won't take credit. This way you can punch the holes even with a ruler to help and hold it up to the invites and mark the spot.
