Default Batiking Mullberry.....

I posted something in my gallery that several ahve asked about and I will try and explain how it was done - it was fairly easy but a bit messy - MAKE SURE YOUR WORK SURFACE IS COVERED!

Use a LIGHT mullberry - white, pale blue, purple, pink - what every your fancy.

Stamp images in versamark - pick stamped that have a fairly thick design - I used Buds and Blossoms, All the Best and batik are also lovely -

Emboss with CLEAR EP. Make sure you do not stick to your work surface - if it does - heat again and pull up gently.

Using reinkers - I took several drops onto plastic wrap for my "pallette" and using an aqua painter or a water color brush - "PAINT" on the colors.

You want it fairly intense colors.

When complete - dab excess off your Embossed area with a paper towel.

NEXT - I placed mine on my ironing board, covered with newspaper and kept ironing until no more EP was there. Iron OFF the EP with a hot iron - SET on DRY - do NOT steam.

yours DONE!

Now use it as you would regular mullberry paper - My project is a covered not pad - cover as you would normally with white C?S and tehn adhere the mullberry.

That is IT!

It took us about an hour to listen to teh instruction, choose our stamps and do the project.

I have to say - I HAVE AN AWESOME DEMO! Jane - your the BEST! She teaches us such COOL stuff and NONE of it is over the top hard or time consuming!

So here they are ladies - instructions as requested! And here is the link to what it looks finished!

ENJOY!
