Default CTMH Consultants

If there are any CTMH Consultants on this board I have a couple of questions:

I"m thinking about signing up to become a consultant. However I'm not a real creative person but have a true love for scrapbooking and a passion for CTMH products. I have very little experience with stamping so I'm not sure if this would be at a disadvantage to me.
Is the CTMH Consultant website helpful? Do you receive new and fresh ideas from there?
I have read somewhere that you need to renew each July. Can you tell me how much this is?
Have any of you ever droped down to the Jr Consultant level? If you have did you regret it of did it work out ok for you?

Thanks for any insight you may have.

Hi! I'm a CTMH consultant and hopefully I can answer your questions.

First of all, if you love the products, that's a great start! I think any consultant no matter what company will tell you that right off.

We have consultants who choose to develop the scrapbooking side of their business as opposed to the stamping side of their business and vice versa. I don't think it would be a disadvantage to you at all. I think that even though you don't consider yourself an experienced stamper - using just alphabet stamps in your scrapbooking is a start and a great way to sell the stamps.

Our consultant website is Awesome!! We have a business , swap, and artwork bulletin board. I don't consider myself to be horribly creative so I LIVE on the artwork board. Plus CTMH has great programs for scrapbooking and cardmaking called Reflections and Originals for the creatively challenged or just when you have a brain block! I love both of these programs. We just released a new 9x9 program that I'm in love with.

We do renew in July, but if you sign up now you won't pay it until next July (06). It's $20 and in the grand scheme of things it won't bother me to pay it. I know it goes towards postage, sending me a new catalog every year, a free copy of our Expressions and Keynotes issues, etc.

I haven't had any problems meeting my minimums each quarter so the JR questions doesn't apply. However, our JR program is wonderful in that it allows you to remain a consultant while getting back on your feet to full status. Your commission is reduced and your minimum falls to $100 per quarter. Once you make $300 in sales though you are re-instated to full consultant status.

If you have any other questions, feel free to email me!!

Have a wonderful Day
