Mother of Pearl Technique??? what is this???
 
I seen a card on the Botanicals set using this on one of them.Any one know what that is email me.. Thanks !

Here are the instructions! Have fun playing with this technique! I sure did!


Faux Mother of Pearl
You need glossy paper, lumiere and saran wrap.
I shake my lumiere to get it in the lid. Wad up some saran wrap, dab it in
the lid and then all over your glossy making sure you leave some of the
white showing through. Now I've used it just like this as a very cool, very
subtle background paper. Or take your spectrum pad and brayer over it (once
it is dry). Wipe off the excess - the lumiere acts as a resist and then
stamp over top of it. These directions came from Mary Brown.

My own comments:
*You can use any ink pads to Brayer or Sponge over the glossy paper. You can mix any color pearl ex with the lumiere. I have also colored over the lumiere background with markers to color in the stamped image. It's gorgeous. Have fun and experiment!
