Default Stamping on glass

Does anyone know the best way to stamp on a rounded edge. I'm trying to stamp on a votive holder, but the stamp keeps slipping around. I'm leaving the stamp face up and rolling the votive on it, and it just ends up looking horrible. Any tips would be great. Thanks!

The easiest way I've done this like doing candles (w/o the heat).
I stamp on tissue then water down some glue (like tacky glue) and "paint" it on the glass.
Apply the stamped tissue, another coat of glue, and glitter for extra shimmer.
You get more color options this way too.

that sounds much easier and it probably looks really pretty with the glitter. Thanks I'll have to try that today!

The only other option I could think of is praying REALLY hard while stamping on the rounded edge

I am round edge CHALLENGED and have been for many years. So, I've given up stamping on votives. I do as mentioned above and also stamp and color random images onto mulberry paper. Tear the mulberry images into individual pieces and use chrystal effects to glue them to the outside. Lots of WOWs come from this technique. I now only stamp on square and M&M shaped glass ornaments---I still keep the rubbing alcohol ready for the odd Stazon slips.

Default Roll it, Baby!

If you will ink up your stamp and lay it wood-side down/rubber side up and "roll" your votive over the stamp, it will work GREAT!
