microscope slide pins

Anyone have directions for creating microscope slide pins? A "search" yielded no results.
TIA,

there are several threads regarding microscope slides

http://forums.splitcoaststampers.com...roscope+slides

I had trouble doing searches yesterday and couldn't get into the gallery at all - but when I did a search just now about this 8:53 a.m. (eastern) on 9/9 many forum threads came up.

I'm wanting to try this too - and just had a friend who was going to Minneapolis pick me up some copper foil tape (we live in a rural area with not even a Joanne's anymore). I don't think I'll do the soldering on it because I want to make it a simple thing for my Stamp Club to do.
I'll post my samples when I get them done. Hope you'll find what you're looking for - good luck.

Here are the directions for pins I have made:
Glass Slide Pins:

2 glass microscope slides
1 X 3 piece of mulberry paper
Sticky Strip
Micro beads
Stazon Ink
Pastels
Dazzling Diamond glitter

1. Stamp one slide with desired design using Stazon ink. Let dry.
2. Color mulberry paper with pastels as desired.
3. Put a small amount of 2 way glue on your finger, dip in glitter, and rub on mulberry paper.
4. Place mulberry paper on unstamped slide and cover with stamped slide putting the side with ink on the inside.
5. Wrap sticky strip around all sides. Make sure you remove the red cover at beginning before you overlap tape.
6. Roll sticky strip in microbeads. Color with Stazon if desired.
7. Attach pin back.

Good Luck with your pins. I haven't been able to post pictures yet, but am working on it.
