Default Expressionistic Watercolor technique?

Can someone please tell me exactly how to do this? Is it just stamping with the color you want and then misting with water?

I want to show this technique at my Show on Thursday! PLEASE HELP??!!!

Thanks in advance!

When I did it, I misted the paper then stamped 2x quickly. After it dried, I stamped again with the same colors. This gives a watercolored background effect if it's the same one I used.

That's how I did it as well, like auntie65. I misted the paper allot! Here's a card from my gallery using that technique.

Thanks so much!!

A few more questions....

How long does it take to dry and be able to stamp the image over the top again? Does the paper get crinkled from the water? I'm sorry....just think these are beautiful and want to show it correctly at the workshop.

Yours is very pretty, Kristin. Love those bright colors!

I dried mine with my heat gun. And I dried both sides to cut down some of the warping. It was still bumpy, but I think it just adds to the piece!

You can dry it with the heat gun and then iron it to flatten. I held mine down with a skewer acrossed the middle. That keeps it from bowing too much, but if you need it quick, then Ironing is the best bet.
