Matchbook Cards
Where can I find info on how to make those cards that look like matchbooks. I saw one and would love to know how to make it. This is a great site and so full of information and wonderful ideas.
Thanks - Karen |
Karen~
I have to run up to kinko's real fast, however, when I get back I can scan the template for you. Or, I can just type out the directions with the measurements for you. Either way I will post them tonight for you. K. |

I'm procastinating about leaving the house and going to kinko's, it's so cold outside in the 50's.
Anywho, I totally forgot that I had the template in .pdf format, so here it is. Have fun ladies! |
Thank you Tonya for helping out. I can't wait to try this technique. I"m new to stamping and when I come to this site I am totally in awe of the talented people who post there wonderful designs and feel very inspired and encouraged to try myself. Plus all the support that is available is WONDERFUL.
Thanks - Karen |
I cheat and just make mine 4.25 inches wide so that I can get two out of one piece of cardstock. HTH!

I made one that was 4 1/4 inches wide and 11 inches long, then fold 4 3/4 inches from the top and 1 inch from the bottom. Staple just lower than the front flap. I made my inserts 5 inches tall by 3 3/4 inches wide (insert before you staple!)
4 1/4" ------------- | | | | | | | | ------------- 4 3/4" | | | | | | | | | | ------------- 1" from bottom | | ------------- Does that make sense? |
