Hi, I am looking for any information someone may have about stamping on wine glasses. The Stazon Ink works well, but I am looking for something to seal the ink to the glass and still be food safe. Are there any ideas out there?
well I am stamping on the outside but the only spray sealer I can find the company says has not be FDA tested to see if it is safe. I want to be able to seal the design on the glass so when it is washed it will not come off.
I've never sealed Stazon...it's permenant and won't wash off unless you really scrubbed it with something abrasive. You may want to suggest that these glasses be hand-washed, rather than run through the dishwasher if you are worried about it, but really, I don't see Stazon coming off.
did you wait for awhile before trying to hand wash them? I tried stamping in the morning and handwashed them in the afternoon. It was okay until I placed the glass under running water to rinse the soap off.
