I want to make a gel card but I have had no luck at finding the 3" by 4" ziplock bags. If anyone out there has made a card like this can you tell me where I might find the bags. I need them for a workshop 8 days from now. Thank you!
I got mine at Walmart in the craft section. I think there were about 100 bags for 1.47 or something. If you can't find them, just ask the lady working in the craft section.
I don't know if you have a Michaels Store near you, but in the Jewerly/Bead section they have all sorts of different size little ziploc baggies. I see them there all the time, and they also sometimes have them at A.C.Moore HTH
I got the mini bags at Walmart. But, since then I have figured out that you can use the small SU bags....they work well!! Just fold the top over several times and tape. Good luck!
I got mine at the dollar store. One hundred bags for a buck. Then I went to the cosmetics isle and picked up a bottle of hair gel. Two dollars is going to get me a lot of gel cards! I didn't even mind when my crafty 4 year old wanted to make her own gel card today.
I found I had a problem with the "ziploc" style bags leaking. I ended up using the small sized cello bags from SU. I just put the gel in the bags and rolled the top down and taped them shut. Maybe I just bought cheap zippy bags, I don't know. Haven't had any problems with the cello bags. Hope this helps.
