Make a longer tag---how?

How do you use the Terrific Tags to make a longer tag? I would appreciate it if someone could tell me how to do it. thanks!

I'd like to know too... no matter how I look at it... I don't get it????

Couldn't you punch a tag out, trace it on another piece of paper, only make it longer that way, and use it as your new template?

Hi, Patti.
Is that thread in the demo forum? I am getting a message that I do not have permission.

now that is a good question! I'll bet it was (I just searched on longer tag punch and found the thread - wasn't paying too much attention). stay tuned...

It's a really cool trick, and not at all difficult! Cut a strip of cardstock 1 3/8" wide. Turn your tag punch upside down so that you can see the "window". Stick your strip of cardstock in the punch lengthwise. Reach into the window and grab the end of the strip. Pull it up through the window and make it as long as you want. Punch. That's it!

I learn so much on this site. Thanks so much for sharing. You don't know how long I have thought about this.

Punch

Well this will eliminate all those extra punches and tring to cut them out by hand which usually never looks that great anyway. Thanks for the tips, keep up the great work!
