Default embossing on vellum using powder

does any one have any tips on how to prevent the vellum from curling after it's heated?

Maybe it's your vellum? I've heat embossed vellum and never had a problem with curling.

Are you fastening it to something (ie. cardstock with brads...) and does that flatten it out?

I've had the same problem when using my heat gun on vellum--it tends to warp and then won't lay flat when I try to attach w/adhesive.

It is important to use Cardstock weight vellum! I haven't had any trouble with that.
