Default faux hammered metal look

Does anyone know how to do the faux hammered metal look that I have seen done on a slide mount?

Could you please share the technique or where to find directions?

Thanks for sharing,
Joy

I saw an episode of Carol Duvall where a lady had a rubber mallet with little dots of hot glue all over one end. She hit a small piece of sheet metal (copper) all over with the "bumpy" end of the rubber mallet and it gave the metal a really nice hammered look.

Hope this is what you were asking about!
