Default stamping on plant pots

My neighbor wants to stamp her plant pots, so I was wondering what she should use for terracotta and for plastic pots. I think she wants them for outdoor pots, so the images should be permenant. Does anyone have any suggestions? thanks!!

I just found this on the S/U website on how to stamp clay pots

1) Paint the pots w/regular white spraypaint (acrylic) inside & out
2)Use Staz On
3) Let dry overnight or use heat tool to dry the ink
4) Color images if desired w/markers
5) Let dry thoroughly
6) Use clear coat to seal the ink/colors

Can also use Staz-On and emboss.
Have not tried this but will this weekend!
