Default Hello

Stampin' pastels tips:

Color your spot of choice with versamark pen, this help the chalk to stick better to the image, and it will make a deeper color if you wish.

Let's say you are coloring a ball or an apple for example and want a highlight spot on it say the "shine", versamark the whole image then color that area with white chalk first, then shade the rest of the image.

Run out of applicators? Use blender pens to dip into chack then color, gives a watercolor effect also, and gets deep colors. Though I prefer the versamark.

Blender pens are great for chalks because once you dip into one color, you can erase that color on a scratch peice of paper, then dip into another color, where the applicators do not do this.

Q-tips do not work well with chalks,

Hope this helps! Helen helenrivera.stampinup.net

Does anyone "seal" their artwork after using chalks? I've had problems with the chalk smearing or just rubbing off onto my hands or whatever else it touches?

Thanks

if you chalk your picture first with the applicators and then use the blender pens over the top, this seals the chalk and it won't rub off.
